Zouch Academy has been selected as a RISE Reception Network Lead School as part of the government’s Best Start in Life programme, recognising the strength of our early years provision and the impact of our reception teaching.
As one of a small number of lead schools across the South West, Zouch Academy will play a key role in supporting and working alongside other schools to enhance the quality of reception education. This includes sharing effective practice, hosting professional discussions, and building strong local networks focused on improving outcomes for young children.
At the heart of this work is our commitment to giving every child the very best start to their education. Through a focus on high-quality teaching, strong language and communication development, and purposeful play, we help children build the secure foundations they need to thrive.
